Refund Policy

At Before I Do, we take pride in crafting bespoke wedding stationery and signage tailored to your special day. As our products are custom-made to order, we do not accept returns for change of mind or incorrect information provided during the ordering process. However, in line with Australian Consumer Law, we will address any issues where the products are faulty, defective, or damaged.

Custom Orders and Return Eligibility

Since our items are personalised, returns for reasons such as change of mind or dissatisfaction with design choices made during the proofing process are not accepted. However, if you believe there is a manufacturing issue or the product arrives damaged, we will work to resolve the matter promptly.

How to Request a Return

If you encounter an issue with your order, please follow these steps:
  1. Contact Us: Email us at hello@beforeido.com.au within 7 days of receiving your order. Please provide the following information:
    • A detailed description of the issue.
    • Photographic evidence of any damages, defects, or errors.
    • Your order number and proof of purchase.
  2. Review Process: Once we receive your email, our team will review the issue and determine the appropriate resolution. If it is determined that the issue is due to a manufacturing defect or damage during transit, we will take action to rectify the situation.
  3. Resolution Options: Depending on the nature of the issue, we may:
    • Re-print or re-create your order.
    • Offer a refund or store credit.
    • Provide return instructions if necessary.

Items sent back to us without prior approval will not be accepted.


Damaged or Defective Items

Please inspect your order upon receipt. If an item arrives damaged or defective, you are entitled to a remedy under Australian Consumer Law. Contact us immediately to report the issue so that we can arrange for repair, replacement, or a refund as appropriate.

Important Notes

  • Non-Returnable Items: Due to the personalised nature of our products, we cannot accept returns for items that are not defective or damaged. This includes errors arising from incorrect information provided by the customer during the order process.
  • Change of Mind: We do not accept returns for change of mind once the order has been placed.
  • Timing: Issues must be reported within 7 days of receiving the item.

Refunds

Refunds will only be processed after the issue has been reviewed and approved. If a refund is granted, it will be processed via your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that your bank or credit card provider may take additional time to process and post the refund.
